Implementation Engineer

New York, NY / Full-time

We’re looking for an experienced healthcare data analyst to join us as an implementation engineer. You’ll be responsible for working directly with health center customers to implement Relevant’s analytics platform, as well as supporting existing customers and contributing to a variety of projects.

As an early-stage startup, we all wear many hats. In addition to client implementations, you might also end up managing projects, answering support tickets, conducting sales calls, writing blog posts, staffing our booth at conferences, designing our next company t-shirts, performing menial labor, and, potentially, writing the next killer feature of our web app. (In short: we are tiny, so you get to do everything!)

Key requirements

• Superior analytic and problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years’ experience extracting clinical, operational, and financial data from electronic health record systems and delivering actionable reports to physicians and healthcare executives.
• 3+ years’ experience with the database schema of at least one popular ambulatory EMR product, ideally eClinicalWorks or NextGen.
• 3+ years’ experience building mission-critical dashboards and reports with a modern BI platform such as Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, or Crystal.
• Next-level Excel wizardry. You should know everything there is to know about Pivot Tables, and probably know something about macros.

Additional skills

• Demonstrated ability to self-manage. (Experience managing others is a plus.)
• Ability to interface professionally with clients, including thorough mastery of the art of client-facing email.
• Some experience with web development technologies, or a desire and aptitude to learn.
• Be nice, and value collaboration.
